Due to the impacts of COVID-19, shipping may be delayed. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience that this may cause. Typically, once your order is placed, there is a three to four day processing period and then the order is shipped. At this time, we ship on Mondays and Thursdays. Customers will receive tracking updates via SMS text message or email once the order ships. For specific questions about your order, please contact Customer Care.
We are pleased to announce that we now offer nationwide shipping. During the summer months, we take extra precautions to ensure that our products are delivered fresh and frozen to our customers. Our Package Engineering Manager has developed a proven method for successfully shipping our products during the hot summer months. We use Dry Ice as a cooling agent for all out-of-state packages. Instead of melting, Dry Ice goes through a sublimation process. In most cases, once your box is delivered to you, there should be no Dry Ice left inside the package. However, just in case there is a little Dry Ice left, please use caution and follow these tips:
- Always handle Dry Ice with care. Never leave Dry Ice around children or pets.
- Wear protective cloth or leather gloves when touching Dry Ice. An oven mitt or towel will also protect your hands.
- If touched briefly, Dry Ice is harmless. However, prolonged contact with the skin will freeze cells and cause injury similar to a burn.
For customers who live within the Washington, DC Metropolitan area, local delivery is available on Mondays and Thursdays. Our local drivers will deliver your order directly to your doorstep.
